Protest

After Israel received a surprise attack on October 7, 2023 by Hamas, the Israel Defense Forces retaliated with continuous military attacks on Gaza. Throughout 2024, civilians, hospitals, schools and homes of the people of Palestine have been bombed by the IDF. On May Day in 2024, people that marched on the streets in the US, have protested against the US government for helping Israel supply military weapons. Students attending colleges and universities in the US setup campsites in their schools as an act of protest against the war and against institutions with financial ties to Israel.
